Overview
Upstate United FC Academy aims to provide a premier soccer development program for players ages 10 to 19. Our academy is designed to foster youth talent and provide players with high-level training, competition, and a structured environment to grow. We plan to establish a robust program with 100 participants over the next two years, with the opportunity for growth and expansion. This plan outlines our projected income from various sources including tryouts, player fees, equipment fees, and specialty courses.
Goals
Develop and Expand the Academy Program
Establish a robust, high-quality soccer academy for players ages 10-19.
Build a reputation as a premier youth soccer development academy in the region.
Ensure consistent player development and create a pipeline from youth to higher-level play (U12 to U23).
Enhance Player Development and Retention
Deliver top-tier coaching with a focus on skill development, fitness, teamwork, and game intelligence.
Improve player retention rates across age groups and sessions by fostering a supportive, competitive, and developmental environment.
Program Breakdown:
The program will be divided into age-specific teams, categorized by U12, U15, U17, and U23. Each team will consist of 24 players. The academy will offer four-month training sessions, with a total of 3 sessions per year (Winter, Spring, Summer).
Age Groups and Teams:
U12 (Ages 10-12)
U15 (Ages 13-15)
U17 (Ages 16-17)
U23 (Ages 18-19)
Each team will be assigned a maximum of 24 players per group, ensuring high-quality coaching and manageable team sizes. This structure ensures that talented athletes have a clear and structured pathway from the academy to the senior team, fostering growth and providing more competitive opportunities. The collaboration between both clubs strengthens the developmental pipeline, helping to elevate players to their highest potential. These Players will compete in the following US Soccer Federation Leagues. United Premier Soccer League Premier division, Division1 and the UPSL Academy program.

Training Sessions
Each team will have 3 practice days per week, consisting of:
Skill Development: Ball control, passing, dribbling, shooting, etc.
Tactical Coaching: Understanding formations, game strategy, and decision-making.
Fitness and Conditioning: Strength, agility, and endurance exercises to improve physical performance.
Game Preparation: Weekly team-building exercises and match preparation.
Winter Session: December – March
Spring Session: April – June
Summer Session: July – September
Each session lasts 4 months, and players will participate in practices and games throughout this period.
Games
Teams will participate in competitive league games and tournaments, scheduled throughout each session. Our players will have the opportunity to apply what they've learned in practice in real-game situations.
Player Commitment
Players are expected to attend all practice sessions and games. Absences should be communicated in advance to the coach.
Players must come prepared for each session with proper attire, water, and an eagerness to learn and improve.
Program Fees
The following fees will cover your child’s participation in the academy program, including all training sessions, games, and team-related expenses:
Player Fees
$250 per session (covers training sessions, games, and coaching).
Players will participate in 3 sessions per year, for a total of $750 per year.
Equipment Fees
$150 per player (one-time fee) to cover the cost of training gear, uniforms, and soccer equipment. This includes your child’s academy kit (jersey, shorts, socks), training gear, and other necessary items for the program.
